About ENTSO-E
ENTSO-E is the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity. We coordinate the cross-border system operations, system development and electricity market activities of the 40 electricity transmission system operators (TSOs) which cover 36 countries. The ENTSO-E Secretariat in Brussels provides support on technical, market and policy developments for all European TSOs in their cooperation with each other, in their joint fulfilment of their legal mandates, and in the intensive interactions with EU decision-makers, regulatory agencies, associations representing network users and other stakeholders.

Our offer
You will be offered the opportunity to:
- Understand the main drivers and challenges around the digitalisation of the European energy system.
- Directly participate in the improvement of impactful business processes by contributing to the implementation plan of the ENTSO-E ICT Strategy.
- Increase your high-level understanding on European electricity processes, with a special focus on strategic projects (European Awareness System, Common Grid Model, Demand Response, etc.)

A monthly amount up to €700 is foreseen as reimbursement for commuting and living costs.
Key objectives the internship will focus on:
With the supervision of a manager:
- Understand the expectations and challenges to deliver the ENTSO-E ICT implementation plan based on the ENTSO-E ICT Strategy.
- Support the Steering Group ICT Strategy and coordinate the task force to deliver the ENTSO-E ICT implementation plan and a Target Operating Model.
- Manage the project of delivering the implementation plan: strategic reporting, follow up of tasks, risk management.
Requirements:
- Be a current full-time student at an university in the EU.
- Set up an internship agreement between the university & ENTSO-E.
- Be available on a full-time basis for a minimum of 6 months.
- Be eligible to travel and stay in Belgium for the duration of the traineeship.
- Provide proof of health insurance coverage by university
- Be a fluent communicator in English.
- Strong appetite for European Energy system, Electricity Grid, Project Management, Information & Communication Technologies
- Enjoy collaborating in an international environment.
