The position
As a Product Assurance Engineer at agap2, you take on the challenge within an international environment with a local focus. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects over the years, based on your experience and interests. Projects within industries such as Banking, Fintech, Telco, Retail, Sports, and Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
You will oversee the quality assurance aspects of product development, from design to delivery, and ensure that both internal and external standards are consistently met.
Depending on the project, your focus may range from development-phase assurance (reviews, testing, documentation) to series production oversight (supplier quality, process optimization, non-conformities).

- Define the Product Assurance Plan for projects.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all quality-related matters toward the customer.
- Monitor compliance with PA requirements throughout the full project lifecycle, including design, qualification, manufacturing, and testing.
- Establish and maintain the configuration baseline and ensure the completeness of all project and product documentation.
- Apply quality requirements to suppliers and subcontractors; review and validate their processes and products.
- Supervise and attend inspections and tests (in-house, at supplier sites, and/or at customer locations).
- Manage and chair boards to handle deviations, waivers, and non-conformances, ensuring documentation and follow-up actions are completed.
- Support the compilation of End Item Data Packs and ensure the closure of non-conformity reports.
- Prioritize team activities to meet broad objectives and deadlines.
- Coordinate with internal subject matter experts to resolve problems and prepare deliverable documentation.
- Evaluate PA requirements in customer proposals and ensure alignment with internal processes and standards.
- Drive improvements in quality-related processes, methods, and tools.
- Ensure activities are completed within agreed budget and timeline while maintaining required quality levels.
- Collaborate with project colleagues and fellow PA engineers to maintain and enhance PA quality practices.
- Report directly to the Head of Quality.
What you bring to the position
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Aerospace, or Software).
- 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, ideally within the aerospace or high-tech sector.
- Experience with or affinity for series production and industrial manufacturing environments.
- Strong process-oriented mindset and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and proactively within fast-paced and evolving environments.
- Strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written); conversational Dutch is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
