ENTSO-E is the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity. We coordinate the cross-border system operations, system development and electricity market activities of the 40 electricity transmission system operators (TSOs) which cover 36 countries. Job description
We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual to join our Graduate Programme as a Business Services Analyst. This programme is designed to develop the next generation of professionals who will help shape the future of Europe’s electricity system and provides for enhanced training and opportunities to experience working in Secretariat Sections, and with international exposure.
Your primary assignment will take place in the Business Services Team, supporting our IT platforms and contributing to the improvement and standardisation of core business practices. These include business requirements management, change request prioritisation, business continuity planning, and enhancing the user experience (UX/UI) of our applications. As part of your graduate journey, you will also complete a structured rotation in the ICT section of the Secretariat to build cross-functional knowledge and broaden your organisational perspective.
The position is based in ENTSO-E’s Brussels office, within the Market & Operations section. You will report to the Manager of the Business Services Team and work in a hybrid model, offering flexibility between remote and on-site collaboration.
Your responsibilities
Tasks may evolve based on team priorities and projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Requirements Engineering & Planning: Support the consistent collection, definition, and documentation of business requirements across multiple IT applications. Collaborate with colleagues to review and prioritise needs to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Business Continuity Management: Assist in developing and maintaining business continuity strategies, including business impact assessments and recovery plans, in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
- UX/UI Design: Participate in interface design reviews and propose enhancements to improve usability, accessibility, and consistency across ENTSO-E applications.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Engage with functional teams and stakeholders to support alignment across applications and business needs. Contribute to the preparation and coordination of the IT Council mechanism from a business perspective.
- Support to ENTSO-E Bodies and Projects: Assist with organising meetings and workshops, preparing documentation, tracking actions, and maintaining the Microsoft SharePoint repository to support transparency and continuity.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the definition and improvement of processes for managing business requirements. Identify process gaps and propose new templates or tools as needed.
- Section Rotation: Participate in a structured rotation to another section of the Secretariat to gain exposure to different teams, workflows, and responsibilities.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with the following skills and abilities:
- Recent graduate with a university degree in Business Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A foundational understanding of IT systems from a business perspective, particularly in areas such as requirements gathering, user interface/user experience (UI/UX), and process optimisation.
- Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms is an advantage.
- Comfortable interpreting technical information and translating it into business language and actionable recommendations.
- Interest or experience in project management principles, including planning, task tracking, stakeholder coordination, and documentation.
- Ability to contribute to multiple workstreams and help keep projects on schedule through structured follow-up and proactive communication.
- Team player with the ability to self-prioritise and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Fast learner, able to thrive in a continuously changing work environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Motivation to work in a multicultural environment and contribute to the European energy transition.

- Section Placement:
- Your primary assignment will be in the Business Services Team in the Market & Operations Section, where you will gain in-depth expertise and hands-on experience in your field.
