Job description
We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive student to join us as an intern in Architecture Office for 6 months period. This internship is designed to develop the next generation of ICT architecture professionals who will help shape the future of Europe’s electricity system and provides for enhanced training and opportunities to experience working in ICT Section of ENTSO-E Secretariat, and with international exposure.
Your primary assignment will take place in the Architecture Office Team, supporting the Enterprise Architecture Working Group, and coordinating ENTSO-E's ICT architecture, governance and processes. You will assist the Architecture Office Lead to support working group activities, its topics across to ICTC Steering Groups and Committees, contributing to informed decision-making and the alignment of ICT enterprise architecture initiatives with the evolving needs of TSOs. You will also assist the Lead in couple of strategic Artificial Intelligence and Digital Platform initiatives.
The position is based in ENTSO-E’s office in Brussels, within the ICT section, Architecture Office. You will report to the Architecture Office Lead and work in a hybrid model, offering flexibility between remote and on-site collaboration.
Your responsibilities
Tasks may evolve based on team priorities and projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Project Monitoring & Coordination: Track milestones, risks and progress of strategic Artificial Intelligence and Digital Platform initiatives. Contribute to reporting and follow-up to support stakeholders’ informed decision-making.
- Meeting Support: Organise and coordinate meetings of the Enterprise Architecture Working Group. Prepare meeting materials (agendas, slides, executive summaries, action trackers, and draft minutes).
- Material Quality Assurance: Ensure the timely and consistent preparation of meeting content, including quality checks of slides, cover notes, and session files.
- Governance Support: Assist in the coordination of the Reference Architecture and System Development Transition Related Task Forces. Follow up on mailbox queries and ensure knowledge-sharing sessions are well planned.
- Process Documentation & Improvement: Maintain documentation and propose improvements to ICTC processes, tools, and templates.
- ICT EA Knowledge Development: Build a strong understanding of ENTSO-E’s ICT enterprise architecture topics and internal processes, contributing recommendations that align with strategic priorities.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with the following skills and abilities:
- Be a current full-time student at university degree in Information Technology, Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Power Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Interest in ICT enterprise architecture topics, with the ability to manage coordination activities and process documentation.
- Interest or experience in project management principles, including planning, task tracking, stakeholder coordination, and documentation.
- Ability to contribute to multiple workstreams and help keep projects on schedule through structured follow-up and proactive communication.
- Fast learner and team player with the ability to self-prioritise and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Motivation to work in a multicultural environment and contribute to the European energy transition.
