ENTSO-E is the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity. We coordinate the cross-border system operations, system development and electricity market activities of the 39 electricity transmission system operators (TSOs) which cover 35 countries. Our offer

We are looking for a highly skilled Energy Data Engineering Intern to join the ICT Governance & Architectures section. Are you passionate about the European electricity market and the energy transition? Are you ready to support data engineering, data science and data visualisation? If yes, ENTSO-E is the right place for you.

You will work in the ENTSO-E Secretariat in Brussels.

You will be offered the opportunity to:

Gain valuable knowledge on European Electricity Data, European processes involving data, European data visualisation.
Gain understanding on European electricity grid processes, including electricity market, system operation and system development.
Gain experience on data flows and interaction between ENTSO-E and the TSOs in Europe.

A monthly amount up to €700 is foreseen as reimbursement for commuting and living costs.

Your responsibilities

With the supervision of a manager:

Provide support to working groups developing data reporting on the European Electricity market.
Develop some innovative data visualisation for ENTSO-E to better visualise the key data for the business and executive management.
Perform data analysis and data engineering to optimise the data flows.
Set up a community of data analysts in ENTSO-E.

Your profile

Be a current full-time student & set up an internship agreement between the university & ENTSO-E
Be available on a full-time basis for a minimum of 6 months.
Be eligible to travel and stay in Belgium for the duration of the internship.
Provide proof of health insurance coverage by university.
Be a fluent communicator in English.
Strong appetite for energy data, data science, data engineering, data visualisation.
Enjoy collaborating in an international environment.
