The Supply Chain Coordinator at Duvel Moortgat plays a vital role in implementing new product developments (NPDs). Situated within the Supply Chain team, this position ensures that new products, including our renowned beer brands such as Duvel, Vedett, and La Chouffe, are successfully brought to market. New products cover a wide range of projects, ranging from redesigning packaging and developing new packaging configurations to creating new recipes. By coordinating with various departments and managing the operational aspects of product launches, the Supply Chain Coordinator helps maintain the high standards that Duvel Moortgat is famous for.
The Supply Chain Coordinator plays a crucial role in the successful development and introduction of new products, directly impacting on the company's ability to meet market demands and maintain its competitive edge. By efficiently managing the implementation process, this position helps ensure that new products are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Supply Chain Coordinator reports directly to the Supply Chain and Procurement Manager.

- You coordinate the end-to-end implementation of new product developments within the supply chain.
- You collaborate with the Marketing Department to understand the creative aspects of new products.
- You work closely with Marketing, Sales, Planning, Operations, Logistics, Procurement, Finance and Quality Assurance teams to ensure smooth product launches.
- You coordinate the approval flow of new packaging artworks and on time delivery to our suppliers.
- You monitor inventory, purchasing, and delivery processes to minimize waste and reduce costs.
- You develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for NPD implementation.
- You ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- You ensure the accuracy and integrity of master data related to new products.
- You act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and progress.
- You drive continuous improvement in the NPD implementation process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- You monitor and analyze the performance of new products post-launch and make recommendations for improvements.
Your ingredients:
- A bachelor's degree in Business Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in new product development implementation, preferably in the beverage or FMCG industry.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successfully launching new products.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Hands on mentality: you take initiative, embrace change and you dare to think outside of the box.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Power Bi is a plus.
- Experience with an ERP tool, such as Business Central, is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Dutch, English and French.
