As an analyst you must make sure scope is available for the development teams to implement by providing a stable inflow of user stories. A Software Developer serves as a member of the software development team and works on both technical and design aspects of software projects while always keeping an eye on the quality of their code (through unit testing). A proactive approach to problem-solving as well as a detailed understanding of coding is essential. The objective of the Network Design department is to develop and continuously optimize the Lineas network in order to maximize the restrained resources utilization across all entities of Lineas Group (concretely drive resources productivity) while allowing consistent, robust and stable delivery hence assuring high clients’ satisfaction and network profitability.
You will be working in one of our 4 teams. Each team covers a geographical area of responsibility (Belgium, South-west, North-east & ZARAR). The teams will be organized as such that knowledge building and sharing is fostered, allowing agility in execution, accountability of everyone for it’s respective area of expertise and great job satisfaction (through achievement of common goals and a fair work-life balance).
Each team is composed out of all relevant area’s of expertise (Infrastructure, Engineering & Optimization), both on a central and local level.
Within each team, individual team members will have their primary area of expertise (“major”) and secondary area of expertise (“minor”). Team members are encouraged to develop their competences.
Within each team an individual team member will take up the overall coordination of the team for a predetermined period of team (e.g. PERT-plannings for Belgium). During this period of time, this team member will be the point of contact between the team and the Head of Network Design. Cyclically each team member will thus assure this overall coordination role.
Performance will be measured in a matrix model, taking into consideration KPIs on a team level and on expertise level.

The Purchase to Pay Manager (P2P Manager) will design and implement a scalable, automated purchase to pay process for our international company's growth. With 80% of Lineas' spending through external contracts, the P2P process is vital for efficient purchasing, spend control, timely supplier payments, and fraud prevention.
The goal is a centralized P2P system that can handle increasing invoice volumes due to international expansion. The P2P Manager will work with stakeholders and suppliers to optimize the process and lead a team focused on value-adding activities over routine tasks. High-quality standards are essential for this role, which reports to the Head of Finance Operations.

The Purchase to Pay Manager oversees P2P process design, documentation, and internal controls, driving efficiency improvements. He/she manages updates and monitoring of P2P procedures and workflows and oversees the centralized procurement to pay process in collaboration with Procurement & Cash Management, managing DPO (Days Payable Outstanding).
This role includes handling month-end/year-end closing, ledger reconciliations, and maintaining accuracy in invoice processing. The P2P manager monitors pending invoices and orders, promotes electronic invoicing, and maintains relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
The manager leads the P2P team, facilitating in day-to-day activities, monthly meetings, (mid-) yearly performance reviews, and supporting audit activities. He/she also tracks and optimizes P2P performance metrics and provides business support for ad hoc requests.
You have a bachelor/master degree in Accounting/Economics/Finance, coupled with 5-7 years of hands-on experience shaping financial processes. While specific Purchase to Pay experience is a plus, it's not a deal-breaker. Fluency in Dutch/French and English is a must. You should be savvy with ERP, operational systems, and MS Office.
You are an experienced people manager. Further, you embrace automation, communicate clearly, and showcase your problem-solving skills, time-management, responsibility, commitment, motivation, and positive attitude. An analytical and process-oriented mindset is essential, along with strong organizational and project implementation skills.
The P2P Manager position offers a full-time and unlimited contract with a salary package from €63.669 to €84.892 including your 13th month, contingent on your knowledge and experience. There is also a variable annual bonus.
As part of the benefits, you will receive a company car with a fuel card or a fiscally interesting mobility budget. The insurance package includes hospitalization insurance, private accident insurance, group insurance for guaranteed income and pension. Also, meal vouchers and eco vouchers are provided.
Your home internet expenses are covered, and you receive net expense allowances. You will have 23 days of leave (with an extra day after 1 year of service), 9 ADV days, and 1 day of experience leave for every 5 years worked.

Dive into the role of Technical Framework Finance Officer at Lineas and support the asset maintenance teams with their financial administration while driving process improvements.
At Lineas you can:
Your mission is to execute the financial administration of our assets (locomotives and wagons). Afterwards, you monitor the result to improve the content and or process if needed.
As Technical Framework Finance Officer you act as first point of contact for your internal and external stakeholders, while respecting the framework of the Lineas Asset Fleet (i.e. finance, claims and cost related). You communicate clearly and escalate issues if needed.
You manage the financial administration of wagon/locomotive maintenance costs (= handling incoming invoices, converting annual budgets and contracts into purchase orders (POs) and generating POs for activities and contracts managed by wagon/locomotive maintenance teams).
You control all wagon/locomotive maintenance related costs in due time, by verifying the maintenance activities performed, reviewing the accompanying documentation and workshop rate.
You challenge suppliers in the quality of their financial flow, you work out and implement (joint) improvements to implement a lean administration.
You manage incoming disputes (= finding a solution to get the disputes solved and giving instructions to the Finance back-office team for issuing credit if necessary).
