In the context of energy transition and market liberalization, Haulogy is successfully contributing to the transformation goals of its clients in the energy and utilities sector by offering modular and scalable management software and relevant commercial and IT services in a long-term partnership approach. In this context, haulogy is looking for a Functional analyst- Energy Sector.
Responsibilities:
As a Functional Business Analyst, you will be a key member of our product team, working closely with the Product Owner and collaborating with Developers and Architects within the broader team developing our ERP product suite. You will play a crucial role in understanding and translating business needs into software solutions, ensuring that the final product aligns with the overall vision. Your specific responsibilities will include:
- Gather and document requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for our ERP solution. Maintain up-to-date documentation reflecting ongoing discussions and decisions.
- Solution design: Translate client needs into detailed and actionable functional specifications. Design use cases to guide developments.
- Stakeholder collaboration: Partner with clients, developers, and architects to define and implement optimal, high-quality solutions.
- Testing: Write test scenarios for the analyzed functionalities.
- User acceptance: Organize demonstrations for end-users and gather feedback. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) when needed to ensure solutions meet expectations.
- Cross-functional teamwork: Actively participate in your multidisciplinary analyst team, ensuring alignment between functional and technical requirements and customer expectations.
- Documentation: Maintain and enhance Haulogy solution documentation to support continuous improvement
- Continuous improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes within a dynamic agile environment, actively participating in team activities and agile ceremonies.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalnt experience.
- A min. of 3 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating successfull experience in business of functional analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dissect complex business processes and translate them into clear functional requirements.
- Excellent communciation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Additional desired qualifications:
- Knowledge of the energy market and utilities, including their specific business processes and integration challenges.
- Familiarity with agile develpment methodologies, such as Scrum and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
- Fluency in French, both written and spoken.
- Professional working proficiency in English
