- Be responsible for developing and managing long-term schedules for maintenance activities anticipating future needs and adjusting plans accordingly to ensure alignment with both operational needs and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and analyse maintenance forecasts to maintain accurate records and support informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure that all maintenance tasks are effectively planned and executed, addressing any potential challenges proactively to ensure seamless operations.
Maintenance Planning:
- Developing and optimizing maintenance concepts for the Brussels Airlines fleet by working together with Engineering to evaluate maintenance programs, assess feasibility, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Planning of scheduled Base Maintenance checks and special ground times of maintenance tasks such as but not limited to Landing Gear Overhaul, Paints, Heavy modifications Campaigns and cabin refurbishments.

- Maintaining effective communication with the Strategic Procurement Manager Base Maintenance & LDG, contracted Base Maintenance providers, material departments and engineering teams to align all planning and project aspects.
- Actively coordinating with the CAMO and Part-145 organizations to ensure seamless operations.
- Leading regular planning meetings and kick-off meetings to ensure all stakeholders are aligned.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships within the LHG to facilitate active collaboration and exchange on maintenance concept discussions, ensuring alignment on technical standards, best practices and shared initiatives.

-University degree (Bachelor’s) in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Strong technical background in aviation with a minimum of five (5) years of experience, and proven experience in maintenance planning.

You’ll be part of the Maintenance & Engineering team — a passionate and committed group that plays a key role in ensuring every flight is safe, enjoyable, and on time.
Our technicians and engineers keep our aircraft in top condition — from the tip of the nose to the top of the tail. The Safety and Compliance Monitoring Department within the P145 maintenance organization is a newly established team, giving you the opportunity to help shape and develop it alongside your colleagues.
