At Waterleau, we design, build, and operate sustainable water and wastewater solutions that help industries and communities reduce their environmental footprint.
To accelerate our growth, we are building a dedicated Rental Solutions Business with containerized and mobile treatment units. We are looking for a Commercial Leader – Rental Solutions to develop this business into a top-three player in the European rental market.
This is a senior strategic commercial role with end-to-end ownership of market development, business planning, and commercial performance. While not a formal people management position, you will steer the rental business and orchestrate cross-functional teams across sales, product, operations, and marketing.
Your mission
You will design, launch, and scale our rental business across Europe by translating market demand into a high-performing fleet and profitable commercial model.
You will:
- Define and execute the overall rental business strategy
- Conduct market analysis and build the business plan and go-to-market strategy
- Develop and deploy the rental fleet and branch structure
- Identify and win new customers and partnerships
- Act as the voice of the customer internally
- Drive revenue growth, margin optimization, and customer satisfaction
- Align closely with Business Development, Commercial Leaders, Product, and Marketing
What you bring
- Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- 8–12+ years of B2B commercial/business development experience
- Experience in rental, equipment leasing, industrial solutions, or water/environmental technologies
- Strong understanding of water & wastewater technologies (or ability to quickly acquire)
- Proven track record in revenue growth and market expansion
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability
- Data-driven and comfortable with analytics and performance dashboards
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working across cultures and geographies
