The objective of the Customer Care Representative is to interact with customers in order to facilitate them doing business with our company – e.g. by translating contracts into bookings, answering questions, resolving support issues and by nurturing relationships. Customer Care works in the Simply Deliver platform as central internal platform. An Online booking tool will be used to provide (self-) service in an automated, digital way as much as possible. Next to this, Customer Care is responsible to create a lock-in and loyalty effect by providing state-of-the-art service recovery solutions in case of irregularities and by implementing a voice-of-the-customer program incl. feed-back loops into the organization.
The Customer Care Representative will be the face of the company and is an important link in the logistics chain. From the request till the arrival at the customer, s(he) will ensure a good flow and tuning between commercial and operations. The Customer Care Representative will ensure that information flows smoothly and keep track of everything administratively.
Satisfying customers – For our customers, you will actually be our company. Once they have placed their order, you will monitor our internal processes and adapt them to suit the customer.
You will coordinate specific transport services for different customers, which may be based both nationally and internationally. You will be able to manage capacity (filling level) and to adjust or draw up plans in consultation with the customer.
Producing consignment notes – You will take charge of the administrative task of drawing up consignment notes. You will help come up with digitization ideas for every step in the process.
Problem-solving ability – You will be able to put out fires if necessary. Need to find a solution to get your transport moving? You will easily get to the bottom of the issue so that this works out fine.
Reporting – You will monitor the quality of our service to the customer by means of standardized reports.
Working in various systems – You will manage to switch smoothly between the various systems, understanding exactly what each system does.
Link between the commercial and the operational – You will adapt the information that you receive to suit the various departments between Lineas and the joint venture
Optimizing processes – You will not be satisfied with simply following processes mindlessly. Do you think that things could be better? Quicker? Easier? If so, you will consult your colleagues and customers and look for concrete improvements.

Drive your career forward as a Locomotive Engineering Manager, ensuring locomotive safety and reliability through expert maintenance and risk analysis
As Locomotive Engineering Manager you fill in the function of Maintenance development ECM2;
You respect and enforce the safety-related internal guidelines, regulations and legal requirements when carrying-out the safety critical tasks, and follow the safety-related trainings and the certification path linked to the function;
You assure Locomotive safety, by ensuring that the maintenance of the assets and subparts are in full compliance with all applicable standards, laws and imposed safety goals and safeguard the accreditations imposed by the regulations;
You maximise Locomotive reliability by maximising MTTE and continuously optimizing maintenance from a technical and safety point of view.
As Locomotive Engineering Manager you determine the maintenance plan and/or maintenance program Locomotives, with respect for the safety and technical integrity of assets ;
You perform risk analysis on locomotives maintenance development changes and/or configuration changes and /or major damages
You continuously improve the maintenance activities & type of maintenance being executed based on the analysis of incidents, recurring damage and maintenance works carried out.
You take ownership of the configuration management of the ECM Lineas Locomotives implying defining and following up components;
You write maintenance instructions and adapt TOR documents.
You manage REX meetings with respect to incidents, technical problems, recurring damages and/or executed maintenance works, with the aim to find solutions and proposals for improvement the Reliability team, even for assets for which Lineas is not the ECM,
You organize and/or validate optimization and change studies and relevant changes in the technical and maintenance status of the Locomotives, from the point of view of safety and integrity
You collaborate closely with the Locomotive Planning Manager and Workshop Supervision, as bi-directional communication on the maintenance plans and executed maintenance is needed to ensure the quality of the maintenance performed
You sign engineering contracts with technical expertise bureaus for outsourced competences;
You check the quality & completeness of data, including all technical information after maintenance or repair on ECM Lineas Locomotives and their critical components, and monitor the optimization / automation of data entry;
You set up the safety-related internal guidelines, regulations and legal requirements when carrying-out the safety critical tasks, and follow the safety-related trainings and the certification path linked to the function;
You have 3-5 years of experience as engineer
You are a subject matter expert in locomotives
You have excellent problem solving and decision making skills
You have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate others
You have proven organizational and delegation skills
You are focused on cost awareness
You have excellent communication skills in Dutch or French and good knowledge of English and the other national language (Dutch/French)

Goederentreinen op de rails krijgen is een optelsom van allerlei variabelen: beschikbare locomotieven, dienstdoende machinisten, vrije rails, enz. Al deze dingen kun je van tevoren perfect plannen - en dat is precies wat we doen... Maar externe factoren of veranderingen op het laatste moment dwarsbomen deze planning bijna altijd. We hebben dan iemand nodig die snel kan denken maar ook snel kan handelen - iemand die resolute en correcte beslissingen kan nemen zodat we onze beloften aan onze klanten kunnen waarmaken - en dat is ook precies wat we doen.
Treinen samenstellen - Je bouwt voort op het werk van je collega's die de planning voor de lange en middellange termijn voorbereiden. Je bepaalt of de treinen die zij hebben samengesteld, kunnen rijden zoals gepland en past ze zo nodig aan.
In realtime bijsturen - Je krijgt alle informatie over onze treinen en de reisroute op je computerschermen. De telefoon gaat naast je over om je op de hoogte te brengen van onvoorziene wijzigingen. Je collega wacht achter je om de klant te informeren over de actie die je gaat ondernemen. En je peilt de situatie rustig, bekijkt alternatieven en opties, neemt de juiste beslissingen, coordineert het werk en dispatcht alle informatie.
Je leert heel snel tijdens het werk - Het plannen van een trein is een complexe en unieke taak die je alleen tijdens het werk kunt leren, wat je kunt doen met de hulp van ervaren collega's. Maar gaandeweg leer je ook heel veel over het plannen van een trein, het spoornetwerk en over de mogelijkheden van onze treinen, wat je allerlei carrièremogelijkheden binnen het bedrijf biedt.
Omdat onze treinen op alle momenten van de dag (en nacht) rijden, werk je in een 3 x 8 ploegensysteem. Het werk wordt uitgevoerd op kantoor, dus thuiswerk is niet mogelijk.
Je bent een snelle, oplossingsgerichte denker. Je hebt geen tijd te verliezen, want iedereen kijkt naar jou voor een oplossing. En dat is precies het moment waarop jouw creatieve geest het verschil maakt.
Een bachelordiploma (of gelijkwaardige ervaring)

As an Application Engineer, you provide end-user application support in a 3rd line on a daily basis covering multiple applications. You’re not only answering questions in a structured and understandable way but you’re also continuously trying to educate 2nd line (“shift left”) and / or end-users. You are aligning on a regular basis with our service desk (first & second line) responsible to ensure the software support team respects the defined SLA’s on the different Lineas services.
Using your functional and technical knowledge and skills you are responsible for solving software related incidents and make sure the service is restored as soon as possible. In order to do so you need to work closely together with our infrastructure team, integration team, software analysts and external suppliers. In case of major incidents you play a leading role (based on your expertise and experience) with a focus on bringing the necessary people together in order to resolve the incident and with focus on communication towards (end-)users.
As a guardian of our application production system you are responsible to not only react on alerts but also extend and improve our current monitoring systems preventing incidents from occurring.

Voor onze terminal in de Antwerpse haven zijn wij op zoek naar een enthousiaste en gedreven terminal planner om de groei van onze organisatie op te vangen.
Je zorgt voor een juiste organisatorische planning voor alle containers en treinen op de terminal. Hierbij hou je rekening met het gevarengoed (ADR) en de aankomst – en vertrektijden van de vrachttreinen.
Als planner ben je het aanspreekpunt voor de havenarbeiders buiten op het terrein. Je stuurt hen aan om de taken op een efficiënte manier uit te kunnen voeren.
In nauw contact staan met klanten, transporteurs, Infrabel en spoorwegondernemingen

Als ervaren Work Train Driver ben je in het bezit van een vergunning van treinbestuurder en aanvullend bevoegdheidsbewijs (brevet B2). In de uitoefening van deze job bestuur je werktreinen en voertuigen op het spoor die instaan voor het onderhoud van de infrastructuur, zowel van de bovenleidingen als van de sporen. Je staat ook in voor de bediening van de werktuigen, dit op in dienst of buiten dienst gestelde sporen.
