The position
As a Team Lead Production Piping at agap2, you take on the challenge within an international environment with a local focus. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects over the years, based on your experience and interests. Projects within industries such as Banking, Fintech, Telco, Retail, Sports, and Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
As Production Team Leader, you will focus daily on analyzing and improving processes on the production floor. You’ll take a critical look at what works well and, more importantly, what can be improved. You spot opportunities and act on them, taking ownership to implement improvements and optimize workflows. Your insights and actions will help make our production more efficient, smarter, and future-proof.
You’ll lead a team of ten motivated professionals, ensuring that our piping systems are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll also act as a key link between production and other departments such as engineering, work preparation, and sales — contributing to the ongoing development and growth of the organization.
- Analyze production processes and implement improvements where needed.
- Lead and coach a team of approximately 10 employees on a daily basis.
- Create structure and ensure efficient planning and execution.
- Monitor progress in terms of quality, scheduling, and budget.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and work preparation to determine optimal production methods.
- Coordinate regularly with sales to align project agreements with production planning.
- Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor while handling administrative tasks.
- Contribute ideas and initiatives to improve operations and support long-term growth.
What you bring to the position
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a production environment.
- The ambition to grow into a leadership position (previous leadership experience is a plus, not a must).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for process improvement.
- A proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire and engage others.
- Strong command of Dutch (English proficiency is a plus).
- A practical mindset and hands-on approach — you enjoy being on the shop floor.
