The Senior RF IC Layout Engineer will be part of an experienced layout team. In close cooperation with his colleagues he will be in charge of the layout of high speed analog and RF circuits and he will take up a leading role in the floorplanning and optimization of the system on chip.
He/She is an expert tool-user for nanometer analog and RF CMOS and/or RF SOI technology.
The successful candidate will work closely with the IC designers. He/she will take into account the constraints from the designer and will go through iterations with the designer to further optimize the layout from a performance and area perspective.
RF circuit layout experience in the sub 10-Ghz range is a plus.
The layout engineer should have a good understanding of the different circuit topologies and their constraints for the layout implementation. Good understanding of the layout rules enables to optimize the implementation.
The senior layout engineer is also capable to perform extraction of parasitic and make the interpretation of these results in view of further optimization.

Bilingual Model Evaluation (Quality Assurance):
Conduct critical listening assessments on AI-generated speech in both Mandarin and English, evaluating metrics such as pronunciation accuracy, tonal correctness (for Mandarin), prosody, and emotional expressiveness.
Assess the naturalness of code-switching (mixed-language) content, ensuring seamless transitions between Chinese and English segments.
Identify and tag acoustic anomalies (e.g., robotic artifacts, slurring, background noise) and linguistic errors.
Audio Post-Production & Editing:
Utilize professional DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) (e.g., Adobe Audition, Reaper, Pro Tools) to polish generated audio.
Perform precise waveform editing, spectral repair, and noise reduction to eliminate model artifacts while maintaining voice character.
Adjust timing, pacing, and volume levels to meet broadcast-quality standards.
Data Analysis & Feedback:
Collaborate with algorithm engineers to provide structured feedback on model performance differences between the two languages.
Assist in the creation and cleaning of bilingual "Gold Standard" datasets for model benchmarking.
Language Proficiency:
Native-level proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (standard accent preferred) and Professional working proficiency in English.
Deep understanding of the phonetics and phonology of both languages (e.g., Chinese Pinyin/Tones vs. English stress/intonation).
Technical Skills:
Demonstrated experience in audio editing and mixing. Proficiency with software like Adobe Audition, Audacity, Izotope RX, or similar tools is required.
Critical Listening:
A highly sensitive ear for audio quality, capable of detecting minute imperfections that the average listener might miss.
